As Cyclone Ditwah continues to intensify over the Bay of Bengal, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has confirmed that Hyderabad and most parts of Telangana will not face any severe impact from the storm. Instead, the city is expected to witness light rain, cloudy skies, and cooler temperatures over the next couple of days.
No Major Threat to Telangana
IMD Hyderabad stated that Cyclone Ditwah is moving slowly at around 5 kmph, reducing the likelihood of heavy rain, strong winds, or storm-related disruption in Telangana. The slow movement, however, is expected to prolong rough sea conditions and heavy rainfall in coastal regions.
The department clarified that Hyderabad will remain mostly safe, with only minor weather fluctuations.
