The 48th Kerala Film Critics Awards for the year 2024 celebrated a dynamic range of films and performances, with ‘Feminichi Fathima’, directed by Fasil Muhammed, taking home the Best Film award. A satirical exploration of patriarchy, the film has gained acclaim for its bold narrative and strong social message.
Indu Lekshmi was recognized as Best Director for her poignant film Appuram, while Tovino Thomas earned the Best Actor (Male) title for his stellar performances in Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM) and Anweshippin Kandethum. The Best Actor (Female) award was jointly shared by Nazriya Nazim (Sookshmadarshini) and Rima Kallingal (Theatre – The Myth of Reality).
