Bharti Airtel Ltd has reported a strong performance for the September 2025 quarter (Q2 FY25), posting revenues of ₹52,145 crore, supported by robust growth in its mobile, home broadband, and enterprise business segments.
The company’s net profit surged 73.6% year-on-year to ₹6,792 crore, reflecting strong execution and the impact of tariff hikes rolled out in July 2025, which continued to push up average revenue per user (ARPU) through a process Airtel described as “continued premiumisation.”
Sequentially, Airtel’s revenue grew 2.9% over the previous quarter, while year-on-year growth stood at over 20%.
📈 Segment-Wise Highlights
- Mobile Services (India): Revenue rose 13.2% YoY, driven by the full effect of the July tariff hike and a shift toward higher-value plans.
- Home Broadband: This segment delivered a 30.2% jump in revenue compared to the previous quarter, supported by expanding fiber reach and strong customer additions.
- Airtel Business (Enterprise Solutions): The segment showed steady growth owing to rising enterprise demand and digital transformation initiatives.
☁️ New Growth Driver — Airtel Cloud
In 2025, Airtel also launched Airtel Cloud, a data-sovereign cloud platform for Indian enterprises that offers “telco-grade reliability.” This move is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand into cloud and digital infrastructure services targeting regulated sectors such as BFSI, healthcare, and government.
Overall, Airtel’s results demonstrate sustained growth momentum and successful diversification across consumer and enterprise verticals, reaffirming its position as one of India’s leading telecom operators.
