The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the shortlist of players nominated for the Player of the Tournament award at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with the final set to take place on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Among the eight nominees, Sanju Samson is the only player from India to make the prestigious list after delivering a series of outstanding performances during the tournament.
Interestingly, New Zealand and South Africa have the highest representation on the shortlist, with two players each nominated for the award.
