The young Rajasthan Royals prodigy smashed a brilliant century for Bihar against Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025, becoming the youngest-ever player to hit a century in the tournament’s history.

Dominant knock under pressure

Batting first, Bihar found themselves struggling at 31/2. Taking responsibility early, Vaibhav shifted gears and played a mature, controlled innings far beyond his age. Known for quick starts but sometimes losing wickets early, the youngster appeared more composed this time, determined to bat deep.
