SRINAGAR: The Tourism Department has announced the suspension of all skiing activities at Gulmarg for the 2024-25 season. The decision, outlined in an official order, cites the prevailing situation as the primary reason for the closure.
“In view of the current circumstances and after thorough consideration, it has been decided that all skiing activities at the ski stations shall be suspended with immediate effect,” the order stated.
Additionally, all personnel and staff stationed at Kangdori for skiing-related duties have been directed to return to their respective departments or corporations without delay for reassignment as per administrative requirements.
