A Chinese academic known for his bold geopolitical forecasts has once again captured global attention with fresh warnings about the evolving West Asia conflict and its potential impact on the United States.

Jiang Xueqin, often dubbed “China’s Nostradamus,” has gained popularity for predictions that some believe have aligned with real-world developments. Through his YouTube platform, Predictive History, he shares insights on global politics, war strategies, and shifting power dynamics.

Warning of a Strategic Trap

Xueqin has cautioned that the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran could place Donald Trump in a difficult strategic position. According to him, even if Washington attempts to avoid escalation, circumstances may eventually force the deployment of American ground forces in Iran.

He argues that reliance on air power alone may not be sufficient, potentially dragging the US deeper into a prolonged conflict.
